New Austin Music - April 16, 2025

Updated: May 3

Howdy!

We got some cool stuff for ya today: some music to listen to (of course), a few shows to go to (of course), and an intellectually stimulating look into why poetry performed in music form can cause a human to weep (of course?).

Most of this is new, some of this is less new, all of it is really good.

5 Songs To Have On Repeat

  1. Is It Any Wonder? - izzi

It feels like I'm both lonely and cheerfully optimistic. I love this track.

  2. A Few Hours After This - Born Twins

Beautiful cover of The Cure, this was definitely recorded while they were lost in space.

  3. Pink Pear - Redbud

The bass is so groovy and plays so well with the vocals. Probably gonna fall in the shower dancing to this song later.

  4. EYELESS FACE - haha Laughing

I need to move my body when I listen to this.

  5. Prom Queen - Lavender Scare

Incredibly catchy, so don't listen to this unless you're ready to listen to it every day for the next year.
